THE PROBLEM: INCONSISTENT CLAMPS
Ferrules from different manufacturers, OEM equipment, knock-off ferrules, old standards, and even plastic at times can be difficult to join in a successful hygienic unions or sanitary joints.
A customer in the service industry, responsible for system upgrades, maintenance, and repair, was having trouble getting clamps to fit all the connections he was encountering.
THE JACOBY-TARBOX® SOLUTION: GRQ ENGINEERED HYGIENIC CLAMPS
Jacoby-Tarbox® engineered hygienic clamps have a unique “Block A” Profile that will help seal difficult unions. The profile compresses the union at the ideal location to seal without having to be over torqued. This helps prevent gasket shear and prolongs the life of the elastomers.
The customer and his fellow technicians found that the GRQ clamp worked in all their applications, and on the first try, saving them valuable time, and customer call-backs.
